Redbird BATD Simulator Now in Service at Our Olympia Location
Safety In Motion Flight Center is excited to announce that a new Redbird Basic Aviation Training Device (BATD) has been placed into service this year at our Olympia, WA location! This FAA-approved flight simulator delivers realistic cockpit replication and a true-to-life visual environment, giving our Flight Training students a cost-effective, safe, and repeatable way to build skills.
What the Redbird BATD Offers
Our new simulator supports a wide range of flight maneuvers, instrument procedures, and scenario-based training, including:
Instrument procedures such as IFR approaches, holds, and intercepts
Maneuvers practice and systems training
Emergency drills and high-workload scenario training
Recurrent training, IPC prep, and initial instrument training, all under instructor supervision
