Customer Service Representative  - Olympia

Job Description

Safety in Motion Flight Center is looking for a customer-oriented service representative for its Olympia Regional Airport location. A customer service representative (CSR), will act as a liaison, provide product/services information, monitor computer-based flight scheduling, dispatch and check-in aircraft rentals, and resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face with courtesy, accuracy, and efficiency.

CSRs in the aviation industry are genuinely excited to help customers and thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with aviation and experience working in front-desk customer service positions. Additional tasks will be processing invoices and receiving various forms of payment, monitoring flight schedules for irregularities, assisting departmental managers coordinate aircraft maintenance scheduling, and resolving any customer/student issues. Job training in aviation operations unique to our company is provided.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls

  • Monitor online flight and instructor scheduling program

  • Schedule, dispatch, and check-in airplane rentals and training flights

  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction

  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication

  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information

  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution

  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents

  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies

  • Take the extra mile to engage customers

  • Proctor FAA Written Exams (Training provided)

  • Assist Administrative Manager with various tasks

Skills

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative

  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

  • Strong multi-tasking skills

  • Possess strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work with little direct supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
