Charter Services

Fly Washington!

There are many advantages to booking a charter flight, such as being able to fly on your own schedule, not having to wait in line, fly into airports that may be much closer to your actual destination, and more!  When you consider the time and expense associated with waiting for a flight, car rentals, hotel and dining expense just so you can meet the airline schedule, booking a charter flight might make more sense.

Charter service is provided by both Jorgensen Air Service, LLC and Port Townsend Air Service, LLC, which are operated and managed by Safety in Motion Flight Center. Currently, the charter fleet consists of two Cessna 172s. Click HERE to learn more about the Cessna 172, capabilities, and rate structures.

Scheduling Information

Charter flights can pick up passengers at an airport that may be closer to them and then continue to their destination.  Just ask us how we can meet your needs!

Cessna 172 - Skyhawk

The Cessna 172 is a very comfortable and extremely versatile four-place, single-engine, high-wing aircraft.  Although it is simple in design, the Cessna 172 is industry standard for use by charter operators for short-leg flights, flight schools, and other agencies like law enforcement and the Civil Air Patrol.

The Cessna 172 is excellent for local Puget Sound area flights allowing you to take in the sights, and with the high-wing configuration you can easily look down and see the sights below you! The performance specifications for this airplane make it ideal for landing and taking-off from smaller runways like those typically found at mountain airports, the San Juan islands, and other smaller communities closer to your final destination.

Specifications:

  • Max passenger & baggage weight with full fuel: 685 pounds

  • Average cruise speed at 8,000 ft: 120kts

  • Maximum passengers (Not including Pilot): 3
